Wiki 1 Provider . 2 Different TINS . 1 Location

Hi, hope everyone is doing well, as far as I know, one provider can not bill with two different TINS from the same location.
Does anyone know where I can find this in writing?

I've seen this happen in error actually. The group Tax ID and the individual are under similar names.

I don't think that there is anything to prohibit this. It is possible and legal to own and operate more than one business entity out of the same location.

I've seen this happen, two different TIN's and only contracting with certain insurers under that TIN, i'm not sure the reason for doing so. Normally the only situation is Physician owned ASC.
