If 10060 Incision and drainage of abscess procedure is performed and patient comes back within 10 days and the same procedure is performed again, will the second procedure have to get paid or is it included in the global period?

Would if be appropriate to use modifier 78?

The procedure is performed in the outpatient setting, not in the Operating Room.

Postop period for same procedure in outpatient setting:

Modifier 58 can be used with place of service 11 (office) with 10060....:o
