Anybody knows what 1111F is for? Our doctor tried to bill it with 20553. Thank you.
 
The code 1111F is a supplemental Category II tracking code. It is a code that is used to report performance measurement. It is not any type of a procedure that you actually bill with a dollar amount. These codes are added to encounters just to measure performance, and are used in CMS (old PQRS) now MIPS. If you have a 2021 CPT book, begin looking on page 819 to read what they are, and then the code itself is found on page 824.

It has a fee of $35.00 per Athena's fee schedule, though. Why would that be if we would only use it for reporting purposes?
