Good morning! I'm new to Pediatric coding and a couple of my providers are asking how to code for 12 month, 15 month, 18, month & 24 month WCC. I know we can use the Preventative Codes, however those are only reimbursed once per year, correct? So how do I code for a 15 month & 18 month check if it isn't a problem based visit?

you use your wellness codes. Insurances will pay for more than 1 per year during those ages but at the 2 year visit then after that it is usually one per calendar year or one per year depending on the insurance
