Wiki 2012 spine instrumentation question

I was reviewing 2012 cpt and noticed that 22633 is not included with code first codes for instrumentation..22840-22844 and 22851. We cant code seperate instrumentation with this code??? Has anyone else noticed this...is there any info supporting this?
any help or info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

This is a mistake, the AANS is currently working with the AMA to have this included in their 2012 Errata, you would use the instrumentation codes the same way you normally would. Copy the link below in to your browser to periodically check and see when this has been fixed. If insurance companies deny, you can use the Errata to appeal.
