I was just talking to my office manager about ordering the coding books for 2014, she states that there is no changes due to the roll out of ICD 10 in October so there is no point in ording them.
Does anyone know if this is correct?
 
I heard the same....in fact, our office is not ordering new books either due to that.
 
that is true for ICD-9, no new changes so the 2012 book is still the current code set. CPT however is a different story.
 
Exactly what I've been told. No changes to ICD9 but changes are in effect for CPT.
