HELP...our pathologist do a lot of FISH/ISH testing and we are having an internal debate on the new codes. almost all of the ISH testing our pathologist perform are with "dual color break apart probes". some in our office believe this should be billed as (1)88368 and (1)88369 (one for each color). others believe(myself included) believe that these "dual color break apart probes" constitute a "multiplex probe" and should be billed for (1)88377. any help would be appreciated.

Would you please share what you learned about the Fish testing? My lab thought we had this figured out but now with the denials we are receiving we are having to rethink the coding of our Fish testing.
