If the office administers 2 pediatric doses (0.25mL) to an adult how should it be coded? NDC has to reflect product used, which is for the 0.25mL but the NDC dose was entered as 0.5mL, I feel like that is correct but should they bill CPT code 90685 x2 units or 90686 ?

flu vaccine .25 x 2?

I just got this question from clinical. Has anyone tried to bill the .25 dose x 2 for children over age 3?
