Can someone help me with 2 questions?
1. If a patient comes into the office and it is determined by the NP that works in the same office the patient needs surgery for her prolapse and they refer her to the surgeon in the office, Does that count as an element of the Medical decision making with these new guidelines?
2. If a patient comes into the office and the surgeon decides the patient does need a hysterectomy but also another surgery that he does not do and refers the patient to another physician, Does this count as an element of the medical decision making?
