My physician did 2 injections to the same knee.

Pes anserine RIGHT knee AND Fibular collateral ligament RIGHT knee.

Can you bill this twice?

I know you cannot bill 2 separate injections in the shoulder because of the shoulder joint is considered a single anatomic structure. [I know we are not talking about the shoulder.] But what would be the protocol with the knee?

Any direction will be greatly appreciated.

I was reading about these locations the Pes Anserine is a tendon & the Fibular Collateral is a ligament would it be more appropriate to use 20550 or 20551 if the injectin was given at the insertion since he didn't go into the joint or bursa? Usinga quantity of 2
