Wiki 20680 Removal of implant

Surgeon went in to remove a broken screw and was only able to remove head of the screw and had to leave the rest of it in the ankle bone. Would a modifier 52 be used because the surgeon was unable to remove the entire screw? Thanks.

That's what I would do. The intent was to remove the screw.
