Hey ,

I recently got a 20933 denied for wrong PoS. This was in an outpatient setting, is 20933 inpatient only?

20933 must be billed with a primary procedure for it to be paid. Did you bill anything as the primary? There is a non facility RVU, so POS should not be a factor. I suspect the denial is for a different reason. Did the payer ask for the report?
