hello, 22558 has an add on code 22585 .. this surg. not tec crosssing .. L2-L3 Then also L5-S1 . the 22558 has an mue of 1 tec. this is not crossing .. add one code preferred for the mue issue..however there is an asst surg/cosurg
so we need a prime code for the 22585... going with unlisted for the 22585 ...... anyone agree with the 22558 22558 59 and or why.. thank you
 
This depends. You need to look at the musculoskeletal guidelines. It says if provider performs 2 levels in same region using same technique use 22558 22585. If provider used 2 separate techniques for non continuous then you code 22558,22558-51. Look at those guidelines for proper coding of this case. Hope this helps.
