If you refer to your Complete Global Service Date book for Orthopaedic Surgery you will find that 23130 includes 23415 and you cannot charge for it separately.

I don't think TINAKAYR is trying to bill them both, just wants to know what the difference is. I wonder myself. I never use 23415, however, I just noticed it has a higher RVU value. So if the CA ligament IS released, can't we use 23415 instead of 23130?

My Dr Says That When There's Impingement, We Should Use 23415 Because He Releases The Ca Lig And Does An Acromioplasty. He Said The Other Code 23130 Is Done During A Repair, But That's Bundled With Repair Code, Right?? Thanks Everyone!!
