Postoperative dx-- Right forearm masses on the ventral forearm
A horizontal incision was made over the areas dissected because a vertical incision would have been to long. Dissection was carried down to skin and subcutaneous tissue .It was clinically a lipoma x2.. What were removed are two separate incisions. Each wasbetween 3 to 5 cm . Excellent hemostatic was noticed to be obtained . Both areas were closed with 3-0 nylon. Asterile dressings was placed.
I see that doc did go through subcutaneous ,but closure makes me wonder . Any inputs please ,thanks
