What is the difference between these codes? Can 26040 be used when an aponeurotomy done in the office? Dr. tells me that she does 26040 but no sutures are needed. She says what she does is more then just dry needling which I believe is what 20560 is for. Dr says that she injects cortisone and then numbs up the skin and uses a needle to sever the Dupuytren cord. Is this 26040 or 20560? Can anyone give me some insight?
Thank you,
