hi,
can anyone help me out , the code 27232 T1 (Tenotomy, open tendon flexor, toe single tendon) doctor did incised plantar plate and long flexor tendon was released) is denied when billed with 28285 T1(Hammertoe correction)? Cant we bill both procedures?

The tenotomy will always be bundled into CPT 28285. CPT 28285 includes this procedure and is more extensive; they should not be billed separately. If you have any more questions, please let me know.
