Hello - If a nurse applies the compression (29581) can the physician bill for it? We have a Wound Care setting and the nurses are on the hospital side and our docs are on the part B side. CAn our docs bill for the 29581 is the nurse applies the compression? The physician does check it beofre the patient leaves???

If the nurse is applying it, the facility would get the charge. The doctor would actually have to apply it themselves to bill for it also.

Wow! Do you know where I can find anything in writing to submit to administration? I see what you're saying, but I keep going back and fourth on it.
