Hello - If a nurse applies the compression (29581) can the physician bill for it? We have a Wound Care setting and the nurses are on the hospital side and our docs are on the part B side. CAn our docs bill for the 29581 is the nurse applies the compression? The physician does check it beofre the patient leaves???:confused:
 
If the nurse is applying it, the facility would get the charge. The doctor would actually have to apply it themselves to bill for it also.
 
Wow! Do you know where I can find anything in writing to submit to administration? I see what you're saying, but I keep going back and fourth on it.
