Good morning all,
I am thoroughly confused about these two codes, not to mention I'm new to coding shoulder procedures.
29825 is considered a primary code.
29826 is now an add-on code.
When my Dr. bill these two codes together, the carrier's are paying the add-on code (29826) and denying the primary code (29825). How could this be? Can someone please help me in understanding this?
