Can anyone tell me if I need to use a 51 modifier on the 2nd line of this surgery claim?
The codes are 67218 LT and 76512 LT. Place of service is 22 OutPt surgery at a hospital.
I know I would use a 51 modifier if the 2nd charge was also a surgery code, but the 76512 is a test (B-scan of the eye) - so I wasn't sure what modifier, if any, should be used.

No Modifier 51 for 76512 - LT (not same session w/67218-LT).
Other modifier maybe applied depend to which insurance.
