Hello,
i have a pt that has aetna as primary and the x ray was all deductible, and the 2ndary insurance is khpe capitation , with a 40 copay. but aetna applied 89 .09 to deductible. can we bill the patient the additional $40.09 because the primary allowed it or do we have to write it off because the 2ndary is a capitated policy

Hi Mary, I am a little confused. I understand that secondary has a $40 copay, but what do they allow for the service?
