We received a denial for the 30930 stating the modifier -50 was invalid for this code. I know the description states turbinate(s) plural, but wonder if this means bilateral cannot be billed.
Has anyone else had this issue??

did you bill with another turbinate procedure? Does the insurance require one line or 2 lines with lateral modifiers?

CPT 30930 can be billed bilaterally, Modifier 50 is appropriate and according to CMS is payable @ 150%
