Our doctors use this code postop in the office for debridement. In some cases a septoplasty/inferior turbinates may be done and they carry a global and other cpt's such as 31257-31276-31253 etc that carry non global days are done as well. So we charge 31237 with a 79 or 58. Is this correct?
If we do not do a septo/turbs and just the FESS procedures that do not carry a global we charge the 31237, for debridement, with no modifier.
We are getting conflicting information regarding these issues and would like to know how anyone else handles this.
