Wiki 33 and PT modifiers

Could someone clarify for pathology coding when is 33 modifier is used and when is PT modifier is used for colon screening

In the realm of colon cancer screening, PT is used with Medicare when a colon cancer screening becomes diagnostic. 33 is for all other carriers/payors when a ccs becomes diagnostic.
