Quick question re: LINQ recorders. If a patient is having a LINQ replaced, is it appropriate to code both 33284 and 33282 for the removal / replacement procedure? Or is the removal of the old inactive LINQ included in work of 33282? My encoder shows there is a bundling issue, but also states a modifier is allowed to override, so I'm a little confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes you can bill both together though they are bundled. Why are they replacing the device anyway?

Clearly they haven't found an arrhythmia yet but if the device is at end of life they must have had it for some considerable time.
