There is some debate with my Vascular surgeons on 35666 (Bypass Graft Procedures Other Than Vein), half think we use this for synthetic or cryo and the other half think that we use 35566 for "bypass with vein".
I believe it we need to use 35666 for cryo but but wanted to get some input. My understanding is that 35566 is for in situ only, and although a cryo vein is a natural vein, it is not from the patient's body and would still fall under 35666.
Any thoughts to help clarify for my surgeons?
Thanks in advance.
