I checked the Medicare MUE tables, and the MUE for 36470 is 1 for each date of service. CPT 36470 permits billing with a modifier 50 per the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule so my suggestion would be to report 36470 with modifier 50 and 1 unit of service on 1 line of code rather than 36470.LT x1 and 36470.RT x1.
