Hello Everyone:

Just a quick question not sure if anyone on this thread codes for port a cath insertion.
Just recently I have notice a payor (Harvard Pilgrim in Massachusetts) denying the 77001 and 76937 stating missing primary code.
When I called them they can't really tell me why. And have searched there website and nothing is listed.

Is anyone getting similar denials with any of your payors?

We bill those together and I have not came across a denial from any of our insurances.
