Was wanting some opinion on a Surgeon posting 36569 CPT in a hospital setting and preparing an op report stating that it was just supervision of this procedure that actually someone else performed the procedure and he just supervised, I dont think he can charge that CPT code but was wondering if there was another code I could report?

I believe this is a picc line insertion, and who actually placed the picc line. If it was a resident, then the surgeon gets to bill for the picc. There is not S&I charge for the picc. 36569 is the full charge.
