I am trying to completely understand code 43270 and its uses. I am trying to find what CPT is defining as "other lesions" and if there are other uses for this code other than Radiofrequency and Cryo Ablation for Barrett's esophagus. My physician is wondering if this code can be used to prevent bleeding from occurring in certain diagnosis. Any explanations or help with a reference where I can get this information would be extremely helpful. I have had a hard time finding a breakdown/definition of this code and its elements.
