The doc did a anal biopsy of a scar and after that he did a rigid proctosigmoidoscopy. Can you bill these separatley 45100 and 45300? It passed the CCI edits. He didn't do the biopsy under the proctosig.

I checked the CCI edits on both codes, itlooks like you can bill them together withthe appropriate modifier. Just incase your RVU's are 45100= 8.72 and 45300= 1.57. i've never billed these codes, so I'd be interested to hear how it turns out.
