Wiki 58 with 79

Can someone tell me if both 58 and 79 modifiers can be appended to one procedure? Patient has a surgery 8/15. On 9/12 a surgery was done that was unrelated to the previous sx: 79 modifier. On 9/14 a third surgery was done, unrelated to the first surgery, but within the global, AND related and more extensive than the sx on 9/12. Sooo... 79 AND 58?

78 on the last one 79 is unrelated and 58 is planned and related, unplanned and related is 78. You use the modifiers that go with the most recent service so the first procedure no longer applies.
