Wiki 5th Toe Osteotomy

Pt had a 5th metatarsal head osteotomy with internal fixation for Tailors Bunion. I know this procedure is coded as 28308, but does this include the implant. It was as Stryker implant with locking screw.

I don't think there's a CPT on top of or instead of 28308 to cover placement of the implant. More work but not enough to warrant a -22.
The facility could charge the HCPCS code for the implant.
Anyone else?
