Hi Guys,
I just want to get a clear understanding of when should 60100- "Biopsy thyroid, percutaneous core needle" should be used compared to a normal FNA- 10021/10022- "Fine needle aspiration; with(/out) imaging guidance"? I have an endocrinologist who will be performing Thyroid Biopsies in a clinic setting (OP) with ultrasound guidance. I know that for the guidance portion I should use 76942. It's just understanding the difference between 60100 and 10021/10022.
Thanks,
