While I code for radiologists I need some help from OB please! Coding for 76805 I was told my Rad's are missing "maternal adnexa". Would anyone be able to inform me what that is and/or what it entails so I can ask the Rad's to dictate the additional element(s) to suffice a complete pregnancy?

Maternal adnexae would consist of the ovaries or the maternal cervix, either of those if visible, if they are not visible due to advanced stage of pregnancy, the doctor should dictate that exact thing, not visible for whatever reason. This will satisfy this element. I have coded strictly radiology for almost 2 years now. Hope this helps!
