Help -- I'm new to the rad onc world. I am having trouble getting Superior to pay for a patient's 77014 coding. We have billed for 7 in 7 days( one per day) . I use the 26 modifier as I do the professional side not the tech side. Superior is saying I need an additional modifier but we can not find one that would work. Any help?

Were any of the treatments twice a day? If that is the case, you would need a 76 modifier with the 26 modifier if treatments were at least 4 hrs apart.
