I have providers that want to report 80101 for multiple drug testing. Is anyone aware of the Thermo Scientific Indiko Plus? I'm not sure if this code actually covers this machinery results? The code states only the chromatographic method, (immunoassay or enzyme assay), but the machinery does state this is the method used. The code also breaks down further to each drug class. Any ideas?

80101 is no longer a valid code as of 1/1/15.

For 1/1/15- 12/31/15 replacement codes: 80300, 80301, 80302, 80303, 80304

For 1/1/16 - 12/31/16 replacement codes were G0477-G0479 (some payers accepted 80300, 80301, 80302, 80303, 80304 but many required the new G codes)

Effective 1/1/17 those termed as well and the new codes for presumptive are: 80305, 80306, 80307.

I understand the code is no longer used in the real world, but I do audits for workers compensation and no fault attorneys in NY. They only use codes in the NYS WC fee schedule, which has not updated since 2003. This is also for a date of service prior to 2015.
