Question 87210 denying!

We have an in house lab and when we bill out 87210 we change it to two units. One for the wet prep and one for the KOH slide. We have been getting many denials where the insurance companies will only pay for one. This seems to be a new denial that is happening. Is this correct? Has there been an update we are not aware of stating that you can only bill 87210 once? Please let me know with any knowledge you guys have!
