We have 4 offices that we have been doing biopsy’s and billing the 88305. My question is all 88305 are being billed out of the main office under the same Clia and the MAIN Doctor. I’m just trying to find out if we are billing this correctly. Should we be billing this under the prover that’s did the biopsy or is it ok to bill it all under the main provider. The main provider is NOT in the office most of the time. Which is understandable because the provider can not be in all 4 locations at once.

Ok, then you would bill from the location where the specimen is processed under the lab director.
The PC component is billed by the dermpath who interprets the slide at the location where the read is performed.
