Soft tissue, right wrist, exc: 88305 is CPT. Pathologists also assigned 89060 for specimen examined under polarized microscopic polarization. ICD9 guidelines states do not charge 89060 for tissue embedded specimens. is there anytime this two codes can be charged together? Any help appreciated.
