Hello all,
When our clinician does the 90801 she doesn't do her report until the end of the day. Can she add the report writing to her time?
Also, can we do 90801 other than in the office setting?

Hi,

90801 is not limited to any place of service. We do not include the time providers spend writing/dictating the report as these services are inherently face-to-face. So anytime outside of the face-to-face is part of the pre and post work associated with the service (similiar to E/M).
