i have a psychiatrist who billed for 90807 but didn't add any time in note what other code can use to bill or use 90805 without time?

These are time base codes, so I would ask the provider to admend his documentation to reflect time spent with patient.

Is the electronic chart stamping the time encounter was opened and closed, would this qualify for time spent or does the provider need to put this in chart seperately?

The provider must put the time in his note. This must be done prior to claim creation.
