Hi Everyone,

I need help ASAP, as I have a meeting Monday at noon. I need a good explanation of what is the difference between 90817 and 99321-99233 or examples of documentation for each.

the difference is elementes for using inpt e/m code, you need to have 3 key element history,exam and medical dicision making but using 90817 you need time and psychotherapy e&m that includes medical diagnostic evaluation that includes drug interaction and exam and drug mangment and interpretation of lab or other dx.
