The psychologist, in private practice, usually uses 90837 for a 60 minute psychotherapy visit. How does she code for court services, extensive phone calls, crisis phone calls, school team meetings, school observations, and letter writing? Is this included in the 60 minute psychotherapy or are there other codes that can be used to include the extra work that she does as stated above? Can she use 90899 for this? Thank you!
