Our doctor's are trying to bill a 90885 and per CPT it does not specify if there has to be direct patient contact or not. Also it states "other accumulated data for medical diagnostic purposes" does anybody know which reports this includes? Any guidelines for the 90885 would help out!

Same question as above!
I am new in this field and trying to assisting in finding ways for our providers to be paid for their work outside of seeing the patient. There is a lot of time that goes into review other physician medical records, lab reports, radiology & EKGS...

I have looked up this code the past 2 days but not able to nail down specifics or locate anyone that says they have billed and been paid for this CPT range 90882 - 90885 to reach out to directly. Any assistance or links to further research would be greatly appreciated!
