Coding question?? If a cardiologist stents an RCA and then angioplasties the OM branch, how is the angioplasty coded??? 92920 or 92921? I have seen conflicting answers to this question and really want to understand it. Thanks!!

92920. It would have been 92921 if the intervention was done in a branch off of the RC.

Make sure you use the vessel modifiers on the codes. So you have 92980-RC and 92980-LC
