what is the verbiage that is needed in order to code a "subtotal occlusion?" (92941) Does it have to state that or can it just say 99% occlusion, or 95 % occlusion? Or does it just have to state the culprit lesion was the cause of the myocardial infarction?

Thank you for your help.

Per D Z CPT 92941 "is for treatment of any acute MI, whether totally occluded or partially. If the MD states it is treatment of an acute MI, I would use 92941."
