If cardiologist is using 93280 is POS 11, we do NOT use modifier 26, correct ?

If cardiologist is using 93280 in Hospital, we DO use modifier 26 and TC, correct?

Not sure why am getting confused in POS 11, anyone care to explain it to me a bit better ... cardiologist does not own equipment

It will always be -26 if the physician is only billing for the professional component. When hospital is equipment owner they will bill for the technical component. For the office, who bills for the technical component will depend what the arrangement is with the equipment owner. Depending on that arrangement will determine if you should be billing for the technical component for place of service 11
