Can 93286 be billed day after pacer implant? It looks like that is what this code is for? Anyone had any luck with this?
 
From what I have heard and can tell from the CPT book. No, 93286 is to be used if the system needs to be checked and/or programmed to accomidate the surgery needed or had unrelated to the implant itself. The implant itself is going to have a 90 day global so anything done during that time is bundled into the procedure.
